Everything you need to know before booking your stay at Raíz.
Where is Raíz?
In Santa Margarida da Serra, Grândola — about 25 minutes from Comporta's beaches. Before arrival, we email you all the directions to get there with ease.
What's included?
Everything you need for a relaxed stay: a comfortable double bed, fully equipped kitchen, private bathroom with hot water, outdoor deck, Wi-Fi, air conditioning/heating and private parking. Linen and towels included.
Is there electricity and hot water?
Yes — electricity, hot water and air conditioning.
Is it very remote?
It's a quiet spot surrounded by nature, but not far from everything: 15 minutes from Grândola town and close to the main road.
Can I get there from Lisbon?
Yes. By motorway from Lisbon it's around 1 hour and 15 minutes.
What should I bring?
Just the essentials to unwind. Linen, towels and appliances are on us.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 4 PM and check-out is by 11 AM.
Can I light a fire?
Yes, there's a dedicated fire pit ready for it.
Can I bring children and pets?
Children and pets are very welcome. As we're out in nature, we just ask that you take the necessary care.
What's the cancellation policy?
Up to 28 days before check-in: cancel, change dates, or convert your booking amount into a voucher, free of charge. Less than 28 days before check-in: as standard policy we won't be able to cancel or change your dates — but always email us and we'll try to accommodate your request.
